Denver in the Spring

Here are some of my favorite things to do in metro Denver in the spring:

  • Catch the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in LoDo
  • Visit the Molly Brown House Museum (the Denverite Titanic survivor, named “the Unsinkable Molly Brown”)
  • The first Friday of every month is the Art Walk on Santa Fe with many art galleries open to the public and many provide free food and drinks
  • Experience Opening Day at Coors Field
  • Go to the Tattered Cover bookstore in LoDo and spend hours browsing their enormous selection of books, magazines and much more
  • Visit the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster
  • Stroll the Denver Botanic Gardens
  • Run/walk the stairs at Red Rocks on a weekend morning
  • Attend the Denver Derby Party in May watching the Kentucky Derby for charity
  • Go shopping at the Denver Pavilions and the 16th Street Mall
  • Pack a lunch and visit the Denver Zoo
  • Visit http://www.DenverStoryTrek.org and explore stories behind Denver’s historic landscapes and landmarks on an interactive, self-guided tour of the city
